Privacy

Effective 15 October 2026. Applies to the Jivari app and to jivari.vyntel.com.

Jivari collects no personal data. Your practice is stored on your device, and the app sends nothing to Vyntel or anyone else.

Who we are

Jivari is made by Aditya Sharma, who publishes apps as Vyntel. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@vyntel.com.

What the app keeps on your device

To decide what to ask you next and when you move up a level, Jivari keeps a log of your answers. For each question it records the time, the Sa used, the swara played and its saptak, your answer, whether you marked it sure or unsure, how long you took, and the level, mode, tuning, voice and note length in use.

It also keeps your settings (Sa, note length, tuning and voice), whether you have finished the first-run screen and seen the purchase screen, and whether you own the Full ladder, so the right levels are open when the app starts.

All of this stays in the app’s own storage on your device. The app does not send it anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it. If your device backup is turned on (iCloud Backup on iPhone, or Android’s backup), the backup may include it; that backup is held by Apple or Google under their own terms and is not available to us.

What leaves your device

Nothing, from the app itself. Jivari makes no network connections of its own. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code, and it has no account or sign-in. It does not use the microphone, camera, location, contacts or photos.

Every sound is synthesized on the device, so nothing is downloaded while you practise.

Purchases

The Full ladder is bought through Apple’s App Store, and on Android it will be bought through Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment; we never see your card or payment details. The store tells the app on your device whether you own the Full ladder. We receive the sales reports that Apple and Google give every developer, which do not identify you to us.

Diagnostics from Apple and Google

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us crash reports and usage statistics for Jivari. Google Play may do the same on Android. These come from the operating system, under Apple’s and Google’s policies, and do not identify you to us. The app adds nothing to them.

If you write to us

When you email hello@vyntel.com we receive your address and whatever you write. The message is received through Cloudflare’s email service, kept in our support log, and forwarded to our mailbox at Google. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete it on request.

This website

jivari.vyntel.com sets no cookies and runs no scripts. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes the technical details of each request, such as IP address, under its own privacy policy.

Children

Jivari collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Your choices

Because the app sends us nothing, we hold no app data about you to show, correct or delete. Your practice log is under your control on your device. For email you have sent us, write to hello@vyntel.com to ask for a copy or for it to be deleted.

Changes

If the app’s handling of data changes, for example if syncing between devices is added, this page will be updated before that version is released, with a new effective date.
